Former Hibs manager Lee Johnson has announced he will provide interactive sessions to prospective managers and technical directors during his spell out of the dugout.

The ex-Sunderland chief is not currently in a role after being sacked by Fleetwood Town after just three months in charge of the League One club.

Johnson, 42, had joined Fleetwood just two weeks after his Easter Road departure.

However, now Johnson has offered his advice to coaches seeking to become managers, head coaches or technical directors in the future.

On LinkedIn, the former Hibs boss has offered his experience - counting over 500 matches in the dugout - to five individuals as he provides four interactive sessions on management.

The experienced coach stated topics covered in the management seminars would include; the interview process, playing philosophy and periodisation, recruitment, player development, effective working relationships with players and club hierarchy, media management and club structure.

On the networking site, Johnson poted: "This is a message for Coaches that aspire to be a Manager/ Head coach or potential Technical Directors.

"As I’m out of work currently, I thought I would offer up my experiences by the way of 4 interactive zoom sessions for 5 individuals that are keen on learning from my experiences over 500+ games in management."

It comes after Johnson had spoken out on his experience as Hibs manager and claimed he was 'battered by the media' during his time in Edinburgh.

“It was difficult for me because I played for Hearts, and then Hibs took me on as manager," said Johnson at a Fleetwood fans' forum event. "I got battered by the media - although I think everyone does in Scotland. It’s a culture up there, where they’re very strong, passionate, and opinionated."

A Fleetwood Town statement on December 30 confirmed: "Fleetwood Town can confirm Lee Johnson has left the club with immediate effect.

"Assistant Manager Darren Way and First Team Coach Phil Jevons will also depart – everyone at the Club would like to place on record our thanks to Lee, Darren, and Phil for their hard work and professionalism during their time at the club.

"The Club will issue a further update on the first team staff in due course."
