On Thursday we launched the Hibs Observer, a brand new site dedicated to providing the best coverage of Hibernian FC.

The reaction so far has been brilliant, and we're excited to keep bringing you high-quality football journalism in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

On the site you can read an in-depth exclusive interview with Chris Cadden, who spoke about his injury rehab, wedding planning, and his interaction with new manager Nick Montgomery. There is a look at how Montgomery set his side up against Kilmarnock, and what his tactical approach tells us about how he'll have Hibs playing. And read the story of how Hibs signed Franck Sauzee, told by the man who brought him to Edinburgh and one of his former team-mates.

This is simply a taster of what we have planned for the Hibs Observer as we aim to bring you unique, quality coverage of your club. We can expect boatloads of talking points, analysis, and incidents throughout the remainder of the season, starting with the visit of St Johnstone on Saturday - the first in a run of three home games on the bounce.

To find out more about the Hibs Observer you can watch the video in the player below, with editor Patrick McPartlin, and writer Liam Bryce, who discuss the launch, why the project started and what fans and readers can expect, as well as some reflection on the 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock last Saturday, and Montgomery's first home game in charge this weekend.
